The reporter learned from the Navigation Bureau of the Provincial Department of Transportation that water transportation in our province has developed rapidly in recent years, with 130 water transportation companies and 100000 practitioners in the province. More than 4700 inter provincial cargo ships are being transported. The "Method" introduced this time includes waterway and port management, vessel management, transportation management, and safety management, which will change the situation of the lack and incompleteness of water transportation laws and regulations in our province.

The method attaches great importance to protecting water traffic safety, such as the rule that passengers and staff should wear life jackets when working on water while riding on boats. The reporter learned that in the future, all tourist boats and ferries in the province will need to be equipped with life jackets in accordance with 100% of the passenger quota, and passengers need to wear life jackets 100% when boarding.
